Symptoms can vary widely - from shorter menstrual cycles and hot flushes to anxiety, depression and trouble sleeping or concentrating. As hormone levels, particularly oestrogen and progesterone, decline, noticeable changes occur in the body, especially the skin.
Skin dryness becomes a major issue during perimenopause and menopause, along with decreased collagen production, affecting elasticity and skin thickness. Reduced vitamin D production also impacts skin repair and ageing.
To help support you during this time, I’d like to share my personal journey, including my updated skincare routine, nutritional and lifestyle tips and custom-built skincare bundles designed to enhance hydration, boost collagen and nurture skin health.

FACE
STEP 1
No cleansing. Splash face with cool water, pat dry and then spritz with our Ultimate Biome Spritz - super cooling and hydrating. Contains vitamin C and hyaluronic acid.
STEP 2
Apply Brightening Eye + Skin Serum – second layer of hydration and also damage control. Helps to fade pigmentation and keep my skin tone even.
STEP 3
Apply Repair Face Serum – third layer of hydration. Feels amazingly soothing and hydrating. Softens all my fine lines and wrinkles.
STEP 4
Apply Protect + Clarify Daily Face Lotion – fourth layer of hydration. Again, very soothing and hydrating. Contains SPF and so keeps me protected for the day.

Apply Lime Caviar Eye Crème – special hydration for eye area. Reduces any puffiness and softens all the lines around my eyes.

Apply Ultimate Body Lotion or Ultimate SOS Balm. When my skin is really dry, especially over winter, I also apply one of these on top of the body oil. It just seals in the hydration and ensures my skin is still hydrated when I wake up.
This may seem like a lot, but it feels like part of my daily self-care routine, which is so important during perimenopause when mental health is often affected.
