How We Contribute to Sustainability

Since the very inception of Clémence Organics, we have committed to being a sustainable business. We have always believed in doing our bit for the planet. Here are some of the ways we help ensure that your purchase has a minimal impact on the environment.

Our products are formulated with certified organic ingredients (wherever possible)

This means that less pesticides and herbicides are being used on our earth, and more sustainable growing practices.

We package our products in easy to recycle materials

We choose aluminium as our primary packaging material as its the easiest material to recycle and light to transport (less carbon). We also offer complimentary recycling for all non-kerbside recycling packaging e.g. pumps, atomisers, droppers.

We take every effort to reduce plastic packaging

We are on a path to reducing our plastic packaging to as minimal as possible by 2023, including introducing more compostable options (super exciting - watch this space!)

We ship carbon neutral and with 100% recyclable or compostable shipping options

We ensure that every parcel that heads your way is sent 100% carbon neutral and in packaging that is either kerbside recyclable or compostable.

We are a member of 1% for the Planet

1% for the Planet is an organisation created to prevent greenwashing, certify reputable giving and provide accountability. More than 1% of our sales every year go towards certified environmental charities.

Did you know?

Each ton of recycled paper saves an estimated 17 trees. All of our paper packaging is made from 100% recycled paper.

Around one third of landfill space is taken up with packaging materials. We ship with packaging that is either kerbside recyclable or compostable.

Recycling a single aluminium can could power a television for 3 hours. Our main packaging material is easy to recycle aluminium.

It is estimated that around 75% of all the aluminium ever produced is still in use today. This includes the aluminium we use for our packaging!

Multi-material plastic packaging is among the most difficult types of waste to recycle. We aim to use as little plastic as possible in our packaging and are continually working to further minimise our use of plastic.
